Abbey Lynn Brown, 40, of Omaha, NE passed away Thursday, January 5th, 2023 of an overdose after a long battle with addiction. Abbey was born in Ft Myers, FL on August 28, 1982.
Abbey is survived by her two sons Tylor and Bobby, her mother Becky Wilson and father Michael Brown. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Abbey's friends say.....she loved so much, the brightest light even when it was dark, she wanted desperately for the world to be beautiful and to find her place in it, she hugged so tight because loved hard, one bad ass soul, showed love and support, uplifting with positive words and affirmations, beautiful babe, she carried the most beautiful spirit and energy, took pride in bringing plants that were struggling back to life, it was healing for her and symbolic of her own recovery, self-love and personal growth......
A beautiful daughter inside and out who loved her sons with everything she had, cherished her family, was kind, caring, selfless, loyal, positive, loving, had a hippie soul, a heart of gold, sassy but classy and so much more. She was a fighter of her demons for many years, lost the fight and now rests in peace.
Speaking her truth is very difficult - if one person's life is saved by this, that's what Abbey would have wanted.
Abbey was able to share the gift of life by donating her organs and tissue through Live On Nebraska.
A Celebration of Abbey's Life will be at a later date
In lieu of flowers, her mother asks that donations be made to:
