Ada Beatrice Relford

Ada Beatrice Big mama Relford was born August 6th, 1923 in Webbers Fall, Oklahoma. She was an only child of Molly and James McNeary. She married Theodore Relford (deceased) on July 17, 1942 and together they moved to Omaha, Nebraska. She lived in Omaha for nearly 70 years of her life. She was an active member of Mount Nebo Baptist church until she became ill.

Beatrice was employed at Armour packing house for 20+ years until retirement. She was an active member of Shaffer Chapter #1, Order of the Eastern Stars. Bea, as she was affectionately called by most, was very active. She loved to cook, watch sports live and on TV; especially Husker Softball, Football, and WWF wrestling. Although shed retired from bowling, she still enjoyed whupping all the family on her Wii bowling game.

She was a very giving and selfless individual who would offer to treat all the family to Big Bobs and fries (AKA Burger King Whoppers), while visiting with her on weekends.
She always made people smile and laugh with her sweet and lighthearted spirit, especially if someone was in a bad mood. She also loved to travel with her daughter and son to watch her granddaughters play softball.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Marie James, daughter; Leo James son-in-law, Ted Relford Jr., son; Diantha Relford, daughter-in-law. 8 grandchildren: Tamesha Lynn Marquis, Leonard Patrick James, Peaches James-Keaton, Lynette Relford, Tressa Prince, Julia Relford, Theodore Lillard, and Ted Relford III. 12 great grandsons, 14 great granddaughters, a toy poodle named Pepper, and a host of other loving extended family.
