Amy Abbott

Amy Marie Abbott passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025.

Amy was born to Fred Mumford, Jr and Diane (Smith) Abbott on September 14, 1976 in Omaha, NE. She spent most of her childhood between Omaha and Albion, and Craig, Nebraska. She graduated from Gretna High School.

Amy was known for her free-loving spirit and personality. She loved hanging out with her family, cheering on the Huskers, and scrapbooking.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Shannon Whitbeck.

Amy is survived by her long time loving boyfriend Tim Brungardt; her children, Jesse Abbott, Kathryn Gombus, Nicole Abbott, and Sam Guy; along with her precious grandbaby, Kelsey Stewart; her brothers Jim Abbott, Fred Mumford (Steven), and her sister Patty Smith, along with many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Casual Celebration of Amy's Life will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at 4813 South 167th Avenue, Omaha, NE 68135.
