Anna Christensen

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Anna Christensen, 84. Born May 17, 1940, she passed away comfortably at home on October 14, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Raised on a Charter Oak, Iowa farm, Anna was known for her kind heart, offering encouragements and support. She loved gardening, relaxing in her backyard, listening to birds and caring for her dogs, which brought peace and joy. Anna will be deeply missed and remembered by those fortunate enough to know her, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. 

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mary Harden; her brother Jerry Harden; and Gary "Hawk" Hines her significant other. 

Survived by her daughters DeAnne (Jon) Thompson, Michelle Christensen (Ron), Cynthia Bryant, Sherry Bryant (Pete); 11 grandkids; 6 great-grandkids; and a host of other family and friends.
