Antonio L. Brown was born to MaryAnn Brown and Antonio Pedro Garcia in Omaha, NE. He gave his life to Christ as a young child. Affectionally known as Tony, he went to Howard Kennedy Elementary School. When Tony was around 4-6 years old, he was in the Elks Dream and Bugle Corps under the leadership of Sgt. Hamilton. Tony attended Tech Jr High and Central High School. When Tony was a teenager, he became an instructor of the Dream and Bugle Corp under the leadership of Sammy K. Marion. After that he was in a group called The Contemporaries and he also played in a Band. During this time, he met and married his sweetheart Betty Jean Johnson in 1961 and to this union four children were born MaryAnn, Antonio Jr., Annette and Linda. In the 60s Tony worked for the Conant Hotel as a waiter and he was in charge of the Banquets. Then in the late 70s and early 80s he worked for Jones Security and Tony really enjoyed public service and the community in Omaha, NE and Mpls, MN. In the late 80s to the early 90s Tony worked at Nebraska Furniture Mart and Mr. Bs Outlet Store under supervisors Don Brown and Mrs. Rose Blumkin. In 1996 Tony left and reconnected and married Julietta Myles the mother of his two children Levi and Tanya in Montgomery, AL.
Tony worked for Father Percell on June 10, 1996 until his retirement September 24, 2004. He moved back to Omaha in 2009 and lived in Omaha until he passed.
Tony enjoyed family time, casino, playing pool, family cookouts and talking smack.
Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Betty Horton, grandparents and sister Charmaine Young.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memories his children MaryAnn Brown, Annette (Ray) Cross, Antonio L. Brown Jr., Linda (Maury) Williamson, Levi Myles and Tanya Miles of Montgomery, AL, and Cullen Lamont Holmes; grandchildren, Marquise Brown, Destiny (Jamar) Mountain, Jasmine (Donte) Wilson, Raaquim (Amber) Brown, Malik Brown, Tyler Hofsheier, Niko Hofsheier, Colin Hofsheier, Kendall (Rebecca) Hofsheier, Chevelle Timberlake-Devine, Sholonda (Shae) Myles, Walter Myles, Antonio Middleton; eleven great-grandchildren, Azariah Middleton, Special Love Ones, niece Antoinette (Toni) Carr, Toni Bryson, 2nd wife Julietta Brown, Patricia Marion, Rodney T. Davis.
