Atreus Key was born December 12th, 2023, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was sadly taken from us too soon at five months old on May 20th, 2024, at 3:35pm. In his passing he leaves behind his parents Brittany Preston and DaMonte Key. As well as other loved ones such as his big sister Ember, Grandparents Stephanie, TJ, Twana, and David, his cousin Gabby, and his Aunts Justice, DaVionna, and DaKeyla. He also had many others who loved him who now will forever hold him in a special place in their hearts.
While he was taken very young, he was a very happy, loving, and charismatic baby who had a lively personality making him quite the ladies' man.
He was a lover of many things such as food, his stuffed animals, music, and many shows. He thoroughly enjoyed chocolate chip cookies, strawberries, and bananas to snack on. And while he enjoyed any stuffed animal, he could get his hands on he favored his shark and giraffe that he got on a family trip to the zoo. He loved spending time with his family whether it was watching one of his favorite shows, “Everybody hates Chris”, “Bluey”, or simply watching videos on YouTube with his older sister. He also loved music and dancing with his sister and cousin usually to their current favorite “Get it Sexyy” by Sexyy Red. While every single day and moment with Atreus was precious and special a few moments that really stand out are the wonderful family trip to the zoo April 14th and celebrating his big sister Embers birthday at a trampoline park April 15th a very full and fun weekend with lots of fun, love, and special memories to hold.
Atreus was a very happy, smiling, loving, special baby, and a huge momma’s boy who loved spending time with his mommy Brittany. While he was taken far too soon, he will forever have a special place in all our hearts and memories. All he knew was love before he was taken and is now with all our special loved ones who have passed on being kept safe watching his family continue his legacy and live in honor of him.
