Beatrice Moravec Honaker

Beatrice (Betty) Honaker left us quietly in the night on February 17th at Life Care Center in Elkhorn. She was 89 years old.

She was born in Lindsay, Nebraska on April 22, 1932.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her "Mother role", Aunt Sophia Moravec, her brother, Donald Moravec, and sister Beverly Sacco, as well as Joseph Sacco, brother-in-law, and Mark Finkral, brother-in-law.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Lori Hedlund and husband, Thomas Hedlund, along with grandson Derek Hedlund and his wife, MiKayla Hedlund; great granddaughter Livian Hedlund; grandson Kyle Hedlund and his lady, Elizabeth Edwards; her sister, Linda Finkral and sister-in-law, Margaret Moravec, along with host of extended family, which she loved dearly.

Visitation will take place beginning at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home (4712 S. 82nd Street, Omaha, NE) with a prayer service to begin at noon.
