Beverly Savage Thompson, born on September 2, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 64. She was the cherished daughter of Mary and Van Gully and grew up in Omaha, where she built many memories and lasting friendships.
Beverly attended Tech High School and later worked in various roles, including positions at Westroads Mall and Franklin Elementary School as a crossing guard and a kitchen aide. She dedicated herself to her work and was known for her friendly and caring nature, always looking out for the safety and well-being of others.
On May 5, 2011, Beverly married the love of her life, Anthony Thompson, and together they shared many joyful moments. They enjoyed simple pleasures, like driving around town, going out to eat, attending family picnics, watching movies, shopping, visiting the casino, and spending quality time together.
She was a devoted mother to Andrew Savage and she took great pride in being a mother. Beverly always ensured that Andrew went to school, helped him learn, and guided him with a strong sense of responsibility, keeping him out of trouble and always providing support and love.
Beverly is survived by her sister Sharon. Brothers LeVan and Alvin. Her siblings Arlene, Ed, and Charles preceded her in death.
Beverly’s life was a testament to love, family, and dedication. She will be missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of caring and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
