Bobby Lloyd Parks

November 29, 1981 — January 31, 2020

Bobby Lloyd Parks was born on November 28, 1981 in Oakland Iowa. He lived in Carson Iowa with his parents, sisters, and brothers. Bobby became paralyzed in April of 1999 after falling from a tree. Although this accident altered his life, he did not allow it to slow him down. With a lot of hard work and determination, he mastered life in his wheelchair. Bobby graduated from Riverside High School in 2001 and enjoyed hanging out with his close friends Cody and Patrick.
A few years after graduation, Bobby moved out to the country with his family and he loved living on the farm. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler with his brothers, going hunting, and going fishing. One of his favorite things to do was going over to the neighbors house and watching them harvest. He also loved spending time with his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns, and NASCAR.
When he moved to Omaha with his mom, he enjoyed exploring his neighborhood, often hanging out with the construction crew down the road from his house. He would often eat lunch with them, and he would come home telling his mom about how he would watch their tools when they went to pick up lunch.
He enjoyed teasing his nieces and nephews and arguing with his brothers and sisters. It was impossible to out talk him, and his stubbornness always ensured there was no winning an argument with him.
He and his mom were inseparable, often going on adventures where he was the co-pilot and navigator. Their road trips often resulted in several detours before they got where they were going because the GPS didnt work right.
He also loved his animals including his 17 year old dachshund Lexi, his other dogs Beevo and Dozer and the cat Rudy.
Bobby was preceded in death by his great grandmother Cora Albright, grandparents Darlene and Boyce McIntosh, Darrell E. Parks, his brother Daniel Parks, his dad Ron Stillinger, and Father Darrell D. Parks.
He is survived by his mother Patti McIntosh, sister Monica (Seun) Makinde, brother Aaron Koenig; sister Jenni Stillingr Reicks, sister Laura (Scott) Schuster. Nieces and nephews Danika, Ayo, Allison, Ethan, Sidney, Scott, Gage, and Cayla. Aunt/Uncle Michelle and Vic Hauger, Aunt/Uncle Tammy and Mike Hamre, and Uncle/Aunt David and Cheryl McIntosh. Many cousins, friends, and other family.
