Brenda Sue Dodd-Brown

Brenda Sue Dodd-Brown, 62, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2021. Daughter to Jimmy Dodd and Mattie Mae Dodd, Brenda was born on March 5, 1958 in Springfield, Missouri.
Brenda graduated in 1976 from Springfield Central High School. Upon graduating she began a career at Lily Tulip Company Springfield Division, for several years. In March of 1980 she moved to Omaha, NE, where she started as a short order cook at Louis Bar and Grill. Realizing her passion for 18 years, before ascending to lead cook at Lutheran Home for the Elderly 14 years.
Brenda was preceded in death by both her parents her two brothers Larry and Tony Dodd. She was survived by her son Jamar (Cassandra) Brown of Omaha, NE., daughter Jasmine Brown of Omaha, NE., sisters Sandra (Hershel) Bailey of Springfield, MO., Linda (Castor) Smith of Omaha, NE., brothers Monty (Shirley) Smith of Springfield, MO., James C. Dodd of Springfield, Mo., Don (Angel) Dodd of Omaha, NE., Dwayne Dodd of Springfield, MO., Keith Dodd of Springfield, MO. Brenda was dearly loved by her 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

Brenda especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to travel and the Kansas Chiefs. Brenda Shared a special bond with all of her sibling, however the bond with her twin sister Linda was the best thing sisters could have Brenda will truly be missed and always in our hearts!!
