Bruna "Annie" Lynn Huggins

Bruna Lynn Huggins, lovingly known as Annie to her friends and family, was born on December 13, 1963 in Topeka, KS. She is the daughter of Bobbie Ann Huggins and Ernest Taylor he who passed away before her birth. Her mother later remarried Lealva Young Sr and together, they raised Bruna along with her four siblings. Ezekiel Rhoten brother, Gloria Rhoten sister, Sunny Young sister, Lealva Young Jr brother. Bruna also has 3 siblings from her biological father. Sisters are Rea and Faye Taylor and brother June Taylor (deceased).


After Bruna graduated from Topeka High School, she married and birthed five children. Larry Merriweather son, LaTonya Merriweather daughter (deceased), Chandrea Gladney daughter (deceased), Matthew Gladney son (deceased) and Paul Gladney son. Her grandchildren are Danshay Martinez, Storm Bujanda, Winter Gladney and Praiz'jha Gladney.


Annie was bright, witty, full of laughter and love. She had a signature laugh and smile that was infectious, it drew people close to her. Annie possessed an energy that was outgoing and entertaining all the time. Never a dull moment in her presence, always memorable ones. She will be missed and loved beyond life.
