Cameron Neal Wickliff, 34, passed away October 3rd, 2024 in Omaha, NE after complications following a liver transplant. He was born on March 20, 1990 in Des Moines, IA to Melinda Doty Wickliff and lived all of his life in Newton, IA.
Growing up, Cameron enjoyed playing tennis, watching movies, throwing epic Halloween parties and pestering his partner in crime and older brother, Brandon. He loved riding crotch rockets, wood-working, home-improvement projects and gardening. But most importantly, he loved his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for his beautiful singing voice and hilarious sense of humor, his useless knowledge and true heart of gold.
Cameron is survived by his wife of 7 years, Taryn Wickliff; children Xavier and Quinn Wickliff; brother Brandon (Amy) Wickliff, in-laws Bob and Suzie Williams, brother in-laws Trent (Erin) Williams, Tyler (Brooke) Williams; grandparents Kay and Denny Purtilo and Dan and Maureen Doty, Rich and Colette Mason; nephews Winston, Ledger, Nolan and Turner; nieces Ava and Eleanor; and many other close family and friends.
Cameron is preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Melinda Wickliff; and Grandfather Dave Rowray.
To celebrate Cameron's richly lived life, we will gather on Saturday October 19th, 2024 at Murph & Mary's Pub, beginning at 3pm- 403 W 4th St N Building 17 Suite 104 in Newton, Iowa 50208.
