Preceded in death by his parents, Carl L. and Mabel F. Kellerman, 4 sisters, and 1 brother. In-laws, James and Ruby Buss. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy Kellerman, Cathy (Tim) Smith, Jim (Kathy) Kellerman, Lynda (Mark Haver) Johnson, Sharon Kripps, Michael (Jamie) Kellerman, and many, many, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Carl was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas, the youngest of six children. His family moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he graduated from Benson High School. He was always proud that his children also graduated from Benson High School. He enjoyed attending his class reunions.
Carl enjoyed all activities and sports that revolved around family. He attended every concert, performance, and ballgame that he was able to. He loved to sing and enjoyed many years as a member of the church choir. He also enjoyed traveling including many family camping vacations all around the United States every summer. He achieved a dream and owned a Honda Gold Wing, he rode many miles on the bike taking trips with Judy and friends.
He loved having family around and installed a pool in the backyard. There were far too many ‘pool parties’ to count and so many years of enjoyment in the pool. As the family continued to grow, a monthly family lunch was added to the calendar. On the second Sunday of every month, whoever was available would gather at Mom & Dads for a pot-luck lunch. Each month would have a ‘theme’. Sunday, March 10th was our last family lunch, and it was Dad’s favorite: Breakfast.
