Our beloved Christine transitioned on Saturday, May 25, 2024 while resting in her home. She was survived by her only son, Keenen Boetel and granddaughter, Camilla Boetel (Omaha, NE), parents, Susan and Gerald Parr (Lakewood, WA), sister, Elisha Boetel (Lakewood, WA), nieces, nephews, aunt, along with first and second cousins, all whom loved her dearly. Christine was raised by her mother, aunt and grandparents, with a great influence of her grandmother; she learned to be an excellent cook and loved cooking for family, playing cards and dominoes during family get-togethers. Christine graduated from South High in 1990 where she went on to attend dental school, thereafter, worked at Loziers where she worked her way up to a manager, before holding a variety of positions at Kellogg's for 27 years, befriending and caring for many coworkers. From an early age, Christine enjoyed bowling, motorcycle rides, and had a passion for thrift shopping. Her greatest love and most proud of were her son and granddaughter, both she adored and worked most hard for to ensure they were well taken care of. Christine loved her family above all. She was a character who had a big charismatic personality and quick-witted sense of humor, she was sweet, sassy, spontaneous and classy, but most of all she had a generous heart, and fought for what she loved and believed in. We will miss our loving daughter, niece, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. We are proud of her and all of her accomplishments in life. We love you Christine.
