Clement Mayo (Boomie), 77 years old died December 18, 2021 at 4:45 pm at his home surrounded by family that loved him. He lived with daughter Natashia Mayo in Omaha, Nebraska after a horrible fall at the hospital.
Clement Mayo (Boomie) was born April 11, 1944 in Opelousas, Louisiana to Curley Mayo Sr. and Velma Vallien Mayo. He used to drive semi truck and worked on the railroad for many years. He really loved to work and provide for his family. He was a strong, independent, caring person. He was loved by many women, he was a father to plenty of kids.
Clement Mayo was a Deacon at the Church New Jerusalem. He was also apart of Gospel Kings Music Group and made several CDs.
Boomie loved to cook soul food. He would feed any and everyone. He loved to spend time with his grandkids, going to the casino, watching wrestling, keeping his cars nice and clean. He had a laugh that was unforgettable. He made everyone in his family laugh. For excitement he went on long trips on the open road, listening to church music and oldies. He was a very well dressed man that cared about his looks. Clement always smiled and he will be truly missed by family and friends.
