Cody Jacob Belding of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away February 3, 2025 in Omaha. He was born February 12, 1995 in Beloit, WI, the son of Christopher (Mary) Belding and Ruth Ann (Bryan Allison) Belding. Cody enjoyed life and loved people - he knew no stranger. Cody loved riding his motorcycle, working on vehicle and home repair projects with his dad, fishing in Vermilion Bay with his mom's family, camping, and spending invaluable time with his family and friends. He received an associate diesel technology degree from Central Community College, Hastings, NE. Cody was employed as an electrician in the oil field at Nabors Drilling USA in Williston, ND after spending ten years as a diesel technician at NMC in Omaha.
Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents Edgar and Donna Appel. Survivors include his parents; grandparents Charles and Sharon Belding and Jack and Pam Allison; a brother, Brandon Tillery; step-sisters Abigail (Hunter) Popp, Amy (Mat) Pakes, Alissa (Ethan) Johnson, and Stevie (Steve) Clifton. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who all adored Cody. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Sweet Pea. Cody had a huge circle of wonderful friends, and he was blessed to be surrounded by several of his close friends during his final moments.
Cody touched numerous lives in his short 30 years, and he will be missed immensely. We all love you. God bless you, Cody.
A celebration of Cody's life will be held May 25, 2025, in Beloit, WI. Further details are pending.
