Debra Jean Nagunst

The family of Debra Nagunst of Council Bluffs is saddened to announce her passing on January 21, 2022, at the age of 65 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Rick Nagunst; Children: Richard (Brandy), Adam (Maggie), Shantelle (Dave), Glenda; and Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Siblings; Terry (Pat), Wendy (Dewight) April (Jesse), Jamie (Jonathan) as well as numerous Relatives and Friends. She will be dearly missed by her friends at Crossroads Church, and Friends at Immanuel Pathways. She was preceded in death by her and Rick's loving Twins, Her Father Lawrence Helle, Her Stepfather Derwin Allmon, Her Mother Sherry (Kerr) Allmon, Her Brother John Helle, Her Brother Randy Helle. Debra was a homemaker who loved to do things with her family. She loved God with all of her heart.

She loved all things creative, such as Arts, Crafts, Sewing, a fondness for Plants, and Cooking. She loved movies and to go shopping and to yard sales. She was born in Illinois, she moved to Twin City, IA and attended Lewis Central High School. She fell in love with her husband in Twin City. While they were married, they lived in Iowa and Arizona. She was raised in the Baptist Faith, served God as a Pentecostal. She taught Sunday School, Nursery, Vacation Bible School, and helped with many ministries. She ended her life serving at Crossroads Church, under Pastor Joseph Hall!

A Memorial /Celebration of life will be held at 5:00pmThursday January 27, 2022, at Crossroads Church at 1307 North 28th Street: Council Bluffs, IA 51503. Food will be provided following the service in the gymnasium.
