Demetria Simpson was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 24, 1973, to the late Robert Simpson and Venita Simpson. She graduated from Benson High School in 1991 and proceeded to work at Omaha Public Schools for several years.
Demetria aka Teenie Weenie & Dee Dee age 49, was baptized at Mt. Moriah Church. She was a devoted mother to the late D'Andre Simpson a loving daughter and sister. She passed away in the early hours of August 29th after a battle with muscular dystrophy.
Dee Dee grew up surrounded by a circle of family and friends. She was a strong, fearless woman with a million-dollar smile and captivating eyes, similar to the Big Body Benzzz hazel headlights that would light up any room. She was always a generous, kind-hearted woman and she incorporated that into her motherhood.
Proceeded in her death was her father Robert Simpson, son's father Andre Mitchell; and son D'Andre Simpson. She leaves to cherish her memories and will be greatly missed by her mother Venita Simpson, brother Ennis Devers; Sisters Carman (Wesley) Johnson and Shawnda (Alonzo Sr.) Simpson and a host of cousins, God children, Aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and special friends.
