Dennis Karaus

Dennis Karaus was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away at 74 years old on January 30th. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska until he graduated high school. He joined the Air Force at eighteen and met his wife, Yung Pin Cho, in Korea where he was stationed. He had two sons, Clint Karaus and Alan Karaus. He spent 22 years in the Air Force until he retired in 1990, the family moving to Omaha after his retirement. He is also survived by parents, John and Winifred Karaus, brothers Tom Karaus and Bruce Karaus. He spent retirement in Omaha with his 2 sons. He had an adventurous life in the Air Force traveling all over the world, Korea and Guam, as well as all over the United States. He loved his life, reading books, watching movies, driving around the city and reminiscing about when he was young. He was always a joy to be around, always joking, easy to talk to, always optimistic. We couldn't ask for a better dad.
