Donald Lavern Sands

Donald LaVerne Sands was born on June 29th 1964 to Donald and Maybelle Sands. He was born in Red Oak, Iowa then moved to Shenandoah, IA with his mother and finished school in Shenandoah. He met his girlfriend Delilah Maxwell and they got married and had two daughters Kayleena and Santana. He worked for awhile with the Railroad and did some work doing roofing. He later met Angie Love and they had a daughter Chloie. Later in life Donnie had learned that he had a kidney disease and was put on dialysis which he was on for over two years. He had to quit dialysis cause it wasn't working for him. He is survived by three, daughters, Kaleena, Santana, Chloie; three sisters Teresa, Donna, Donita and two brothers Jack and Donavon, and one step brother Terry, and one step sister Karen. He has 10 grandchildren and his best friend Jeff Dunn who was like a brother to him, a lot of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a lot of cousins and friends.
