Donald Perry Sr.

Donald Lee Perry was born June 13, 1956 to Anthony R. Perry Sr, and Lucille Perry in Omaha Nebraska. He was the seventh out of thirteen children. He departed this life on January 12, 2025 Sunday morning. 

Donald “Donnie” attended Horace Mann Middle School and graduated from Benson High. Donald enlisted to the United States Army, he served as a photographer. His hobbies were parley and horse racing.

Donald was baptized in later in life at Mt. Sanai where he was a committed man of valor and faithfully attended until his health started to transition.

Donald is preceded in death by both parents Anthony R. Perry Sr and Lucille Perry; Son Ashdon Denaldo Glenn Dennis Sr.; Special Friend Carol Scott and Baby Perry; Three Brothers Anthony Jr, Ronald Sr, Conway Sr.; Two sisters Delores Perry and LaVonn “Toni” Scaife; grandparents Jessie Mae Davis, Nathaniel Perry, Caroline Jackson, and Andrew Jackson; nephews Elijah Perry and Myron Perry; nieces Delores Perry, Na'Shay Perry, and Tina White; and a host of other family and friends. 

Donald is survived by children, three sons, Donald Jr. of Omaha, NE, Ronald Perry of Portand, OR, Donte' Perry of Dallas, TX; three daughters Ashley, Deanna Dennis of Omaha, NE, Deidrea Craig of Omaha, NE; 17 grandchildren; siblings Faye and Margaret Perry of Omaha, NE, brothers Nathaniel Perry Sr. of Omaha, NE, Lawrence Perry Sr. of Moreno Valley, CA, Andrew Perry Sr., Kenneth Perry, Dewayne Perry Sr., and Richard Perry all of Omaha, NE; aunts Margaret Simpson of San Antonio, TX, LaVone Green of Los Angeles, CA, Rita Hampton of Portland, OR, Theresa Smith of Omaha, NE; caregiver/cousin Belinda Moore; friend Terry Hayne; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. He is also survived by his Mt. Sinai Church Family.
