Dora Maria Arias, born April 8, 1958, in Tecate Baja CA to Francisca Chavez. She was one of three children, with one brother Marco Chavez (Elizabeth) and sister Elsa Middleton (Bobby)
Dora married Joe in 1978, they met at Chicano Park in San Diego. Moved to NE in 1991/1992 with Jessica, Joe, Jeneva, and Julio. Settled in North Omaha where they established home for their growing family and later had Jelisa and Janessa.
She obtained a job at Simple Simon daycare, where she was given an opportunity to learn and establish several certificates of achievement on Early Childhood Education and provide childcare for over 20 years. She took her love for childcare and became a stay-at-home Grandma for her grandchildren. In the course of her life, In her lifetime, Dora developed numerous friendships and relationships and lived life abundantly. Over the years, she extended a great deal of love and support to many family members and friends and her legacy will live on forever.
Dora was proceeded in death by her mother Francisca Chavez and her husband Joe Arias. She leaves behind beloved children and grandchildren.
