Edmund Rodriguez

Edmund F. Rodriguez passed away November 5, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving wife, 6 of his 7 children, and the majority of his grandchildren. They prayed the rosary as he took his last breath with Mary holding his hand in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was 80 years old. He was born November 20, 1942 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Edmund is preceded in death by his parents, Eutimio Rodriguez and Maria Concepcion Rodriguez; 10 siblings; and step-mother Barbara Giron Rodriguez.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Rodriguez; children Trini (Joe Kerns) Kassen, Annmarie (David) Wajda, Christina Perez, Laurie (William) Rodriguez - Miles, Edmund (Randi) Rodriguez, Philip (Amanda Kelly) Rodriguez, and Earl (Susan) Grant; 23 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Manuel (Laura) Rodriguez Rosiles, Bishop Placido Rodriguez, CMF, and Roman (Lourdes) Rodriguez; second marriage sisters and brothers Concepcion Rodriguez-Molina, Eutimio Rodriguez,  Antonio Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Guadalupe (Alfoso) Rodriguez and many nieces, nephews, and other family; and his puppy Jimmy.
