On the morning of August 29, 2017, Elaines precious soul was led home to a peaceful rest. She is preceded in death by her son, Lance McIntosh, mother, Betty Alexander, and sister, Dorothy Alexander.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Lonnie; four children, Larry (Wanda) McIntosh of California, Linda McIntosh, Lisa McIntosh and Lamont McIntosh; sisters, Dr. Verda Bradley and Janice (James) Bandy; nine grandchildren, Tyler Sheppard, Thomas Offenburger, Brandon McIntosh, Elliot Fletcher, Keegan McIntosh, Bo Walker, Anna Walker, Trevor Sheppard, and Korryn Potts; god daughter, Shalia Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

Elaine was an active member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She retired as a Distribution Clerk from the United States Postal Service.

Elaine will forever be cherished in our hearts for the strength she has shown and given to others through her demonstration of the immeasurable power of true love.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 6:00 8:00 p.m., at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1411 N. 30th Street, Omaha. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 16, 1:00 p.m., at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 2501 Hamilton Street, Omaha.
