Emma Morris

Emma Louise (Lott) Morris, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 82. She was born August 20, 1942 in Marianna, Arkansas to George Lott Sr. and Niciea (Robinson) Lott. Emma is preceded in eternity by both parents; her husband Jessie Roe Morris Sr.; grandchildren Victoria Morris and Dawanchi Swiney; siblings Georgia Mae (Lott) Harris, Pearline (Lott) Finn, George Lott Jr., James Lott, Garland Lott Sr., Odessa (Lott) McGuffey, Mary (Lott) Jones, Lucille Lott, and Paul Lott; and Maria Swiney, whom she considered a special daughter-in-law. Emma is survived by her children Shirley (Sherley Ray) Henderson, Jessie (Ramona Hannah-Morris) Morris, Matthew Morris, Clarence Morris, Katherine Renee Morris, Jermaine Morris (aka Jarasta Muhammad), Nina (Oscar Wilfredo) Nunez and Naomi Morris, a granddaughter that she legally adopted, 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren; her sister Martha Lott; sister-in-laws Lee Ester Lott; and Freddie Mae Lott of Marianna, Arkansas. A special cousin Mamie "Dolly" Scott of Marianna, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
