Enice Prince, Jr. (June) was born in Omaha, NE on Thursday, April 11, 1963 to the late Enice Prince, Sr. and Margaret L. Prince. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Burl Prince, Velma Frazier and Henry Frazier who all preceded him in death.
Enice attended Omaha Public schools, graduating from Benson High School. He later attended Grambling State University in Grambling, LA. Enice worked various jobs throughout his life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh that we all loved. His children loved their summertime visits with him. His niece and nephews have fond memories of playing with him as children and although he was an adult, they thought of Uncle June as a big kid. His granddaughters adored Grandpa June and he adored them. In his eyes they could do no wrong. June loved the outdoors, and loved fishing with his granny and his dad. June really appreciated the natural wonders of the world. He was especially fond of the beaches of South Carolina. He was a great cook and enjoyed good healthy food. He was an avid reader and had an intelligence that even he, not fully utilized. Although he has passed from this life his joyful spirit will live on. He will truly, truly be missed.
In addition to his father and grandparents, Enice is preceded in death by a son Joshua Mitchell.
Left to cherish fond memories include his children; sons LaDarion Mitchell (Frederique) Baton Rouge, LA, Adrian Cole, Omaha, NE, daughter LaAisha Mitchell, Monroe, LA, granddaughters; Sydnei Cole, Adison Felton, both of Omaha, NE and Marie-Claire Mitchell, Baton Rouge, LA, sisters, Terri Prince-Gaillard (Isaac), Charleston, SC and Bev Prince-Muhammad, Atlanta, GA, nephews; Trey Gaillard, (Nthenya) Van Nuys, CA, BJ Collins, Omaha, NE and niece Brittany K. Gaillard, Charleston, SC. Additionally he leaves a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
