Ernest "Butch" Lee Weikle

Ernest L. "Butch" Weikle, Jr. passed away March 16, 2023 in Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 78 years old. He was born December 6, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Margaret (Thomson) Weikle; wife of 48 years, Patricia Weikle; brothers James Weikle and Dwayne Weikle; and sister Shirley Weskirchen.

He is survived by his Daughter, Carrol Weikle (Jeremy Yost); Son Robert Weikle; Daughter Tammy Hamilton-Iversen (Dean Iversen); Son Jeff Weikle; Grandkids, Marvin Hamilton Jr. (Suzie Khin Khin), SeaSea Stark, Lauren Hamilton (Stephen Bardot), Justin Sutton (Sara), Kyle Weikle, Nichole Rock (Matt), Xever Hamilton, Kirsten Weikle, MonTanna Hamilton, Zander Iversen, and Christian Weikle; Great Grandchildren Kayden Weikle and Riker Rock; and many many more loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, brother in-laws and sister in-laws, family and friends.

Butch was a truck driver who loved baseball, football, and race car driving. He didn't take any BS and wasn't afraid to tell you that, who would also give you the shirt off his back and drive to the ends of the Earth if you needed help. He was a man with a tough exterior, but a very big heart and loved to spoil the grandkids whenever he could. He was a family man who was loved by many and will be missed by all.
