Evelyn Gridley

Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away on August 14, 2024, in Omaha, NE. She was born on August 8th, 1931, to John Jefferson Oviatt and Blanch Evelyn King in Souix City, Iowa. Evelyn was first born of 12 children. Siblings, Patricia, Gary, Juanita, Johnny, Jack, Roger, Sally, Wayne, Elaine, Lorraine, and Phillip. Evelyn had five children, including daughters Bobbie Mae, Debbie, Susan, and Carol and Son, Kenny. She had six grandchildren, Jason, Corey, Jared, Lisa, Jami, and Michaela as well as two great grandchildren, Meelah and IIroh. Evelyn resided in Creston, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska for most of her life. She worked as a caregiver and homemaker and enjoyed nature. She enjoyed spending time on her hover round on South 24th Street in South Omaha, NE visiting with people in the area in her later years.
