Frances Ann Colbenson

On Sunday, November 22, 2020, Frances Ann Colbenson born Frances Ann Lehmer, loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 76.
Frances was born in Little Rock Arkansas to Margaret and Bill Lemmer on September 23rd, 1944. As an Army Brat, she followed her father to Japan as a child and Panama as a young teenager. She would frequently talk about her time in those countries and delighted her children whenever she would speak Japanese.
She met Garry Colbenson in California while working in a laundry on the Air Force Base he was stationed on. They Married on December 28th, 1963 and remained married until 1997. Frances never remarried. She followed her daughters to Omaha and would alternate living between Omaha and with her sisters in Arkansas for the remainder of her life.
Frances loved playing cards and board games, spending many weekends playing the games with her children. She had a love of country music and all things Elvis. Whenever she made Enchiladas and Nacho Cheese Dip it was everyones favorite meal. Her smile would brighten anyones day with its warmth and openness.
Frances is preceded in death by her father Bill Lemmer, her mother Margaret Hoffman, siblings Margaret and Billy.
She is survived by her sisters Sue Morris and Barbara Jean Smith, her children Terri and Brett Colbenson-Nelson, Paul and Adrianne Colbenson, and Jodie and Leon Boonstra, her five Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
