Frederic Madje Koffi died unexpectedly on November 12th, 2024. He was born in Lome, Togo on July 3rd, 1985 to Lambert Koffi and Colette Kuegah. He graduated from Lome American School in 2005, and came to the United States as a student in June of 2005 where he attended the University of Toledo in Ohio. He then moved to Omaha to join his mom, where he met his wife Monica. They married in 2008 and were married for 16 years.
Fred was a dedicated family man. He was the proud father of Isaiah, Grace, Malachi, and Mercy. Fred took an active role in his children’s education. He was the principal and bible teacher of Trinity Homeschool Academy of his four children for 12 years. He loved children and taught bible devotion classes for fellow homeschoolers, and taught Sunday school at church. He worked at LinkedIn as a fraud analyst and loved his job. On a normal week, you would find him coaching his sons’ basketball, barbequing some delicious meat, and playing a fierce basketball game with old friends. Basketball was an integral part of his life, and his passion for that was evident to all who knew him.
We will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering ability to spread love and laughter to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Fred is survived by his wife Monica Koffi (Radliff) and four children: Isaiah Koffi, Grace Koffi, Malachi Koffi, and Mercy Koffi. Fred is also survived by his father Lambert Koffi, mother Colette Adakou Kuegah, brother Yannick Koffi and wife Sylvia and kids, Cedric Koffi and son, and Darshan Koffi.
