Frederick Nolan Jr.

December 27, 1961 — December 16, 2024

Frederick "Toogie" Paul Nolan Jr, born on Dec 27th , 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Bernice Nolan and Frederick Paul Nolan Sr. Of Omaha. He was raised in the church from an early age. Frederick later went on to receive his high-school diploma & was a proud graduate who earned his carpenter’s degree from Bellevue University, highlighting his skill and dedication to craftsmanship. Toogie was a man whose kind and giving spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Not to mention, he was very joyful and always had a smile on his face.

Frederick was blessed with 6 wonderful children, whom he loved dearly. He was a member Cleaves Temple, CME in Omaha, NE. He worked several jobs, but most notably, he worked in construction until he retired at age 57 due to medical reasons. He went on to live a great life until his big, generous heart gave out on him.

Frederick loved to take spontaneous trips to other cities, with Sandra and her granddaughter, Samara. He also loved to watch sports every Sunday, like his dad, and spend quality time with family. He developed a skill for cooking gourmet meals. Frederick lived the last 5 years of his life with his life partner, Sandra Toliver-Clark. They were due to get married in 2025.

Known for his hard exterior that masked a soft, caring heart, Toogie was a man of honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, December 16, 2024, God decided to call him home early. Frederick, A.K.A “Toogie” may be gone, but will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

He is preceded in death by both his mom, Berenice Nolan and granddaughter, Lynn’iya Ford.

Toogie is survived by His Dad, Frederick P. Nolan Sr, Fiancé, Sandra Toliver-Clark, sister Denetria Clark. Sons: Kendall Dorsey, Jacob Mullenax, (Omaha, NE), David Ford, Jesse Ford. Daughters: Shereatha Henderson, Evonna Ford (Oklahoma). He also leaves behind 1 niece, 2 great-nephews, 8 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, a host of other relatives, and the loving family of his fiancé.

A special thank you to his aunt, Mary Morris, and his cousin, LaTonia Freeman for always being there for him through the good and bad.
