Proceeded in death by parents Bud & Rose Neneman, brother Jack Neneman, grandchild Alex Thiele & great-grandchild Gavin Targy.
George Neneman was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was also an accomplished baker and owned Ferd's Bake Shop for 30 years. He was a musician, he was a comedian and storyteller, he was a fisherman, he was a great lover of books. He spent 58 years with his wife and the true love of his life, Jean. He taught his daughters to shoot guns and ride horses and motorcycles and to bake bread and to take no nonsense. He taught his grandchildren to fish and to read and to tell jokes and play pranks and to love Nebraska football and that a cherry kolache could be the answer to lifes woes.
Everyone has a story about George usually about a prank he pulled, or a party in the basement of the bakery where he sang and played the piano and the accordion. His timing was impeccable, even when he thought no one was watching him - he once knocked a full bowl of sugar off the kitchen counter because his peripheral vision was so bad, without missing a beat he looked straight up to the ceiling as if the bowl had fallen from the sky. The world may seem a little less funny without him for a while, but he made sure to pass along his joy for life to his family, well all be laughing again soon.
