Georgia Bell Nelson

Georgia Bell Nelson, age 86, died in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 22, 2020.

She was born to the late Cicero and Lonnie Rideout, in Bearden, Arkansas, on June 7, 1934.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Samuel L. Rideout, George Otis Rideout, and Roy Lee Rideout; children Joe Richard Rideout, Earl Nelson, Jr., Claretha Spellman, Diane Penn, and Virginia Shaw.

She is survived by her children Venita Johnson, Lenora Smith, and Georgia Ann Nelson; daughter-in-laws Vera Rideout and Sandra Faye Nelson; sister Rosetta Milton; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Zion Baptist Church on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with interment following at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
