Glenda M. Faulkner was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Ronald P. Faulkner Sr. and Elizabeth A. Faulkner. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska where she attended Saratoga, Horceman, Omaha North and Tech High Schools. Following high school, she went on to
further her education at Metropolitan Community College in Nursing.
Glenda as a child was known for dancing, cooking and spending time with her family & friends. She enjoyed partying and watching soap operas. Especially the young and restless with her friends and was known to talk for hours on the phone about episodes. Glenda
loved glass angel ornaments, solitary, eating ice cream, and was known for her love of Reese's and Sprite. She could spend hours playing solitary alone and was known to have the same set of playing cards for many years. She was a book worm, and loved anything
medical. She was a walking medical advisor, she could diagnose you with almost anything and then tell you how to treat yourself or where to get treated.
In her later years she became a home body that loved to watch crime shows, documentaries and Jeopardy, getting almost every answer correct. She had a relationship with Christ and promoted her children and grandchild to develop one as well. She was
her sister's protector and was known to never back down and always stood her ground. She met no enemies, everyone was a friend to her and you could talk to her for hours on
end. While she always held near and dear to her heart the memories of her parents.
Glenda is preceded in death by,
Parents Ronald P. Faulkner Sr.and Elizabeth A. Faulkner. Brother: Ronald P. Faulkner Jr.
As well as many close family members
Glenda leaves behind to cherish her memory.
Children: James V. Danner III( Donnette), Terrill Q. Danner(Wanda), and Marcella "Marcell" Hollins (Richard). Siblings:Linda Faulkner- Cast (Martin), Danny Faulkner,
Kelvin "Buster" Faulkner (Diana) and Wallace "Wally" Faulkner
Grands; Chassidy, Kalynn, Seyvon, Daniel, Zarrieya, Khamara, La Ticia, Zarreyon and
James C. In addition to 13 Great-Grands, God-Daughter Kai Partee, and many nieces and nephews.
Special Friends: Carl, Paula, Marvell, Ms. Pat, Phyllis L, Kenya and Keisha
