Grace Marie Brewer was born in Kensett, Arkansas. on February 4, 1939 to Walter Young and Marie Bailey-Young. She was the youngest child in the family. The family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1946. Grace was married to the love of her life, Earl Brewer for almost 54 years and their love was an undeniable force that kept their family together and set an example for their children and the whole family. Grace was affectionately known as “Mother” by her family. Mother loved spoiling her family, especially her grandchildren and was always giving gifts and surprises throughout the year – probably from QVC! She was a wonderful cook and the family always looked forward to her delicious dishes and her infamous homemade peanut brittle every holiday season. She was an avid reader who loved mystery, suspense and horror novels written by Stephen King, John Grisham, Dean Koontz, etc. She really enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Bold and the Beautiful, Wheel of Fortune and classic TV shows and movies. Grace departed this life on November 9, 2023. She was proceeded in death by her parents Walter and Marie Bailey-Young; Her loving husband Earl Brewer, Brothers Burgess Wyn Sr. and Robert Young; Sisters Lula Mae Jenkins, Geneva Williams, and Patricia Young; Grandsons Curtis “Moochie” Patterson and Markell Brewer; GreatGrandchildren Trevion Sanders, Kel’cie Marie Dailey, DeMonte Ennis and Jaylen Ennis; Nephew James Hart, Sr. Grace leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy Sons Curtis (Charlene) Patterson, Sr., and Michael (Sharon) Brewer; Daughters Sharon Ennis, Lisa Brewer and Tracie (Brian) Dailey; Special niece Dorethea Johnson and Special nephew Michael (Rosaline) Clark; Grandchildren Markeeta (Jason) Brewer, Christopher Ennis, Curtis Patterson, Jr., Myeisha Oliver, Shannon Ennis; Marquez (Cassie) Brewer, Sydney Sanders, Paige Hankins, Markira Brewer, Kaden Dailey, and Kaleb Dailey; Greatgrandchildren Curant Ennis, Jordan Brewer, Cameron Coppola, Mya Brewer, Jason Reed II; Trevarion Woodruff and Ivy Brewer; niece Ava Johnson; nephew Brandon Johnson; a host of other family and friends.
