Jack Raymond Life was born October 16, 1923 in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Joseph and Daisy Life.
Jack entered the Army in 1943 and served in World War II. Jack fought in many historic battles and campaigns, including Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes and Rhineland. Jack left the military after being demobilized in December 1945.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jack R Life Jr.
Jack is survived by his daughter Cordelia (James) Hytrek, 6 grandchildren: Jason (Brittnee; Kandie (Tom); Cheree (Jeremy); Jeffrey (Kellie); Shanae (Seth) and Zane (Gabby) as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
