James Edward Tyler Sr

James Edward Tyler Sr. also known as Schultz was born March 28, 1941 in Evergreen, AL to the late Carlee Tyler & Cornelia McCreary, who was a business owner of several Grocery Stores in Chicago, IL and Omaha, NE.
James graduated from South High School and later assisted his father with making the Grocery Stores a success until he fell ill.
James was an educator at heart and he admired the strength of his daughters and son. He also loved his family dearly. He always spoke about his children and grandchildren successes and how proud he was of them. Everyone that knew him, knew he loved his suits, hats, shoes, coats and matching accessories. Whenever you saw James he was SHARP.
James departed this life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his son Derrain Andre Land, (1) grandson Jay'von Tyler, father Carlee Tyler, mother Cornelia Tyler, (3)brothers, Jimmy McCreary, Billy Joe McCreary and Roy Douglas Tyler.
James is survived by wife Alean (Peaches) Tyler, (5) daughters, Lisa Tyler, Tisa Dawson both of Omaha, NE, Bernadette Mayo-Fields (Keith) of Merrillville, IN, Angela Tyler of Chicago, IL and Rochelle Tyler-Williams (Shundrick)
of Monroe, LA, (1) son, James Edward Tyler Jr. (Carmela) of Chicago, IL, (14) grandchildren in which the oldest one Latessa Mayo helped him out dearly, (8) great grandchildren, (2) sisters, Clara Mae Meeks of Omaha, NE and Betty Mitchell (George) of Mobile, AL, (3) brothers, Carl L. Tyler (Hattie) of Omaha, NE, Eugene McCreary of Mobile, AL, Elijah McCreary (Rosalind) of Byram, MS, "First wife and the mother of his two oldest children, Vernedia Nichols (James) of Omaha, NE, (3) special cousins, James L. Tyler (June Bug), Nicole Baker, Samantha Baker-Gregory, and a host of other relatives and friends.
