James Kelly Jr.

James Kelly Jr. Was born January 16, 1934 to parents James Calvin Kelly Sr. And Doris Davidson. James attended Long elementary School and graduated from Omaha Technical H.S. Growing up James loved music and boxing, he was a member of the singing quartet group "The Mixers " and boxed in the Omaha Golded Gloves. James was also an avid fan of the University of Nebraska Huskers Football team and loved to watch their games, even thru the up and down seasons and many coaching changes. James Kelly enlisted in the United States Navy in January 11,1952 receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupational Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. Upon receiving his Honorable Discharge from the Navy, James worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital. On August 10, 1956 James begin his US Postal Service career in Omaha, where he retired August 31, 1990 as Supervisor completing 34 1/2 years of service. James Kelly Jr. Wed Patricia (Tee) Moore-Kelly on May 11, 2006, together in love for 41 years.

James was proceeded by Sisters Gertrude Watkins, Sylvia Love, Shirley Yates, Doris Scott, and Patricia Thomas. Brothers Robert Davidson. Richard Kelly Sr. Arnold Kelly, and Lonny Wesley. His children who preceded before him: Daughter Tracy D. Kelly and Son James Jenkins. James is survived by his Wife Patricia (Tee) Moore-Kelly, Sisters Francine Allen and Ella Herrick. Surviving Children: Trina Brown, Toni Kelly, James Kelly III, Michael Kelly and brother to the children Brian Kelly. Grand children: Anthony Brown, Kelvin Kelly, Janay Kelly, Lloyd Glover, Elsa Nasco, Cameron and Tiffany Sessions, Jabori Kelly, Jair Kelly, Yonica Jenkins, and James Jenkins Jr. 17 Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nephews and Nieces. Surviving Sister-in-laws: Mary Kelly, Mary Moore, and Pamela Sterling.
