Janice Schnabel - Dec. 21, 1958 - Dec. 17, 2022

Janice Lynn was born to Charlotte and Walter Guy on December 21, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio, the fourth of six children.
The love of animals that she had all her life began at an early age, when she would bring home every sick or injured animal she came across. As she grew older much of that love focused on horses, many of which she loved and cared for over the years.
She married young and had three daughters whom she loved very much, and she was a devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren.
She married Lee Schnabel on December 22, 2001, and they enjoyed spending time with all their grandchildren. Lee also supported her in her horse habit.
Jan's greatest love was for her heavenly father, Jehovah God and she greatly appreciated his promise for the earth found at Psalm 37:11: "But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace". She eagerly shared that promise with friends, co-workers, neighbors, and most recently with her doctors, nurses, and other health-care givers.
Jan was afraid of dying, but she wasn't afraid of death. She had full confidence in Jesus' promise found at John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life".
Jan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leland Schnabel. She is survived by her daughters Jamie Abraham, Kelly Roum, and Lisa Roum, her grandchildren Virgil, Bernard, Alexis, Malec, Melanie, Michael, and Timothy, great-grandson Aydin, brothers Ron, Dan, Mike, and Steve Guy, sister Dawn Suing, two stepsons and their children, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters all over the world.
