Jaramiah M. Droescher passed away June 6, 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 30 years. He was born September 2, 1993 in Omaha.
Jaramiah is survived by his daughter, Maya Droescher; parents, Michael Droescher and Mari Boner; brothers Devin Yale and Darek Yale; sisters Destiny Yale and Nevaeh Haffner; grandfather Dave Boner; grandmother Susan Janak; and other family and many friends.
Jaramiah grew up in Council Bluffs. From a young age he always had a heart of gold. In school, his teachers told us that he had a great concern for others and was always looking out for the other kids. He would make sure everyone was safe and only let them cross the street when it was safe to do so.
At about 13 years old he started skating at the Council Bluffs skate park and was always there skating and honing his skills. Almost every day he would be there being a role model for all the other kids.
At 18 he met up with a friend who was riding BMX for No Wear. He decided to start riding and advanced very quickly.
For the past 10 years he has dedicated his life to his daughter (Maya) and his BMX community.
All of the people that knew him knew he was good at one thing- EVERYTHING!!! He used to drive all his friends crazy because no matter what he tried, he would pick up on it and basically master it.
He worked as a service mechanic at Sapp Brothers and made everyone's lives a little easier there by helping others and staying late to lend a hand when needed.
Jaramiah's relationship with his daughter Maya was to be looked up to. He would love her and give her just enough tough love to teach her lessons that only a daddy could teach, how to treat others with respect and dignity.
Jaramiah had more friends than you can name. The great thing about him is that he somehow had time for every single one of them. Whether it was spending time with family, working on cars with his best friend Sam, riding stunt shows with NoWear BMX, riding wheelies on his motorcycle, playing XBOX with his friends, or just being a listening ear to anyone struggling, he was always there.
His life came to an end when he was struck by a drunk driver. Jaramiah never drank and would help others struggling in their addictions. He would want us to learn from this and don't drink and drive. Not only do you put your self in danger, you also could put innocent lives around you in danger.
The only good thing out of all of this is that Jaramiah was an organ doner. On Thursday June 13th he rode down the hallways of UNMC one last time, doing what he does best- Saving Others. His heart, lung, kidneys and liver all found a home. Jaramiah will live on in the lives of others and in our hearts forever.
We love you Miah and you will forever be greatly missed, but at the same time always with us in our memories and in our spirit.
Celebration of life and memorial services will be at the Grand Venue Friday June 21st from 5-8pm.
