Jason Loveland

April 8, 1975 — January 23, 2021

Jason Loveland (45) of LaVista, Nebraska, passed away January 23, 2021, surrounded by his family and friends after he lost his battle to Cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Loveland, and his children, Nova Loveland(18 months old), Corey Loveland(14), and Chance Loveland(18); his mother Sheila VanDeWalle, father Don Loveland, step-father Phil VanDeWalle, sister Jodie Valdez, and brother in-law Shane Valdez, and a host of other family and friends. Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents Gerald and LaVonne Robison, Step-mother Kaylynn Loveland, and step-brother Matt VanDeWalle.


Jason was born April 8,1975 to Sheila VanDeWalle(Robison) and Don Loveland. He was raised in Grand Island, Nebraska where he attended and graduated from Northwest High School. While in High School, Jason excelled in sports, including Football, Karate, Baseball, and outside of school he enjoyed fishing and archery with his grandpa Jud. In 2002, Jason became a father when his son Chance was born, and in 2006, his son Corey was born. Jason married, Monica, in 2016, and their daughter Nova was born in 2019. Jason loved his career with BG of Nebraska, as well as his co-workers at BG of Nebraska, which he referred to as his family. Jason had great conversations and advice and would listen to anyone who needed a friend. His smile and laughter was contagious, and he brought positivity everywhere he went. He had the calmest soul and had many words of wisdom. Jason loved fiercely and was loved immensely by every one he touched.
