Jeremy Ramone Simmons was born in Arlington, Texas to Mellany D. and John D. Simmons Jr. His gift was to bestow unconditional love on his family, friends, and people who crossed his path. He had a radiant smile, a jovial laugh, and brought positive energy wherever he was present. He recently started attending church where he lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to be closer to God. If a friend was having problems, he was always there for them with a word of encouragement. Jeremy enjoyed many hobbies. He loved playing drums, singing and creating art. He also wrote stories and was a very talented writer. Today we celebrate his life as we release him back to God our heavenly Father. We are not telling you goodbye, we are simply saying, until we meet again in that day when there is no sunset and no dawning.
Jeremy is preceded in death by grandparents John D. Simmons Sr. and Hobert Adams; and Uncle Michael ("Bago") Simmons.
He is survived by his grandmothers Betty J. Simmons and Quinceola Davis; parents Mellany D. and John D. Simmons Jr.; brother John D. (Trey) Simmons III; aunts Carmen (Nick) Pinto, and Nina Adams; uncles Kenneth (Linda) Simmons, Kevin Simmons, John (Gay) Turner, Michael Adams; and a host of special family and friends.
