Jessica Holdsworth

Jessica Andrea Holdsworth, born December 12, 1977, in Omaha, Nebraska passed on March 24, 2025, at the age of 47. Her favorite role in life was that of parent, grandparent, and caretaker. Jessica touched the lives of many through her unwavering care, kindness, and generous heart. Having spent her life in two states, Jessica called both Omaha, Nebraska and Huntsville, Alabama home.

Jessica enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing cards and dominoes, always finding joy in life's simple pleasures. Jessica recently rededicated her life back to Christ at Rising Star Baptist Church in Omaha.

Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents George and Della Holdsworth, parents Ollie Jackson Jr. and Connie Holdsworth, great uncle (more like grandfather) Edgar Pride Jr., and uncle Michael Pride.

She is survived by her children: Samaiyah Tolston, Maajah Tolston, and Khamari Andrews; step-daughter RaeLynn Wishecoby; her grandchildren: Amir Tolston and Pryah Tolston. Jessica is also survived by her brothers, Maurice “Moe” (Danica) Holdsworth, Steven Bass, and Carlos Jackson; sister, Carolyn (Oliver) Jackson Baker; nieces, Cassidie and Kloie Holdsworth; great aunt (more like grandmother) Nola Pride; her lifelong friends, Patti Glinsmann Brown, Steve Andrews, Aritha Johnson and Juanita Lubonski; and her extended Holdsworth, Gress, Jackson, Pride, and Lawson families.

A remembrance gathering will be held at 4712 S. 82nd St, Omaha, NE on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of a formal religious service, Jessica’s family welcomes all who knew and loved her to celebrate her life and legacy.

She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
