Joann Clarice Jones

Joann C. (Adams) Jones passed away February 5, 2023 in Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 92 years. She was born October 9, 1930 in Stanley, North Dakota to Harry and Maybelle Adams.

Joann retired from teaching at Millard Public Schools in 1993, spending most of her career teaching 4th grade at Central and Rockwell Elementary Schools.

Joann is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lee "Roy" Jones; brother David Adams; sister Ruth Zanker; niece Elizabeth; and great-grandson Ryder.

She is survived by her daughters Janna Richards, Teresa (Catherine Hoich) Jones, Kaaren (Linda Schneider) Hagge, and Kelly Kramer; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; extended family, many friends, and her cat Butterscotch.

A joint service for Joann and Roy will be held on Monday, February 20, at 11am at Discovery Presbyterian Church (4622 Monroe St). Memorials may be directed to the family.
