John Lowry

John S. Lowry III born in Washington D.C. to John and Pauline Lowry Oct. 4, 1943. Later moved to Chandler, Arizona. Graduated from Arizona State and University of Southern California. Air Force Intel officer for 26 years, including MACVSOG 1968-1969. Worked at Lockheed Martin and Aerospace Corporation.

Married to Susan Donharl Lowry 1967, of Biglerville, Pa, an Air Force nurse.

Had many assignments, but always happy to return to Nebraska. Loved life and had an infectious laugh.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Survived by wife, Susan; his two sons and their families; Scott (Kari), Jason (Christy); 4 grandchildren; and other family and friends who will remember him for his wisdom and generosity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Moving Veterans Forward, Papillion Rescue Squad, St. Jude children's research hospital, and Josie Harper Hospice House.

Graveside Services Thursday, April 11, at 12:30pm at the Omaha National Cemetery
