To know him was to love him.
John left behind Janet, his wife of over 35 years, 3 sons: Kevin, Sonny and Chuck. Five daughters, Dawn, Tiffany, Stephanie Roxanna, and Kristy. Son
in laws Ken and Eric. Two beautiful daughter in laws Angela and Amanda. Thirteen beautiful grandchildren, Five beautiful great-grandchildren.
He went to work for his dad at Neff towing at sixteen years old. He then opened his own company: Big N towing in 1985 and his brother soon followed. I think his favorite job was working at B&W. He loved the owners and bosses and all the fun guys he worked with. They were all very kind to him.
John loved his Hawaiian shirts, he wore them every weekend and on every vacation (look around)
John fought his cancer for 45 days at home being taken care of by Janet, Amanda and hospice. We laughed everyday while sitting on the porch with a lot of visitors. When he passed away he was pain free and gone in less than one minute. He was a spark of tenderness that children of
all ages gravitated to. He had a quick smile or a smart remark, he loved telling stories. A special thank you to his favorite cousin Roger
Bennington and favorite Loren Miller and our good friend Violet and my sister Judy for all the meals they cooked and daily visits.
Rest in peace we love you and will see you again.
Until we meet again.
Those special memories of
you will always bring a smile
if only we could have you
back for just a little while.
Then we could sit and talk
again just like we used to do.
Your laughter and love
meant so very much to all
you touched and always will.
The fact that you are no
longer here will always cause
us pain, you are forever in our
hearts until we meet again.
