This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Joseph L. Hampton was born on November 19, 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska to Emmer L Smith and David L Hampton. Joseph was a very smart and gifted child. He had a passion for singing and playing basketball. He loved singing in the choir as a young child. Our mother always said that he had a voice only heaven could provide. In our hearts we felt Joseph left us far too soon but in God's eyes it was right on time. Even through his life choices and even through all his obstacles he obtained his G.E.D. He never lost his faith and he always kept smiling. Joseph accepted Christ at a young age and carried God close to his heart always. He knew the Lord and loved the Lord. Joseph is proceeding in death by Grandparents: Emmatine Louis Smith, Oliver Nigg Smith, Chattie Hampton , Aunt Bertha May Smith, Uncle Oliver Smith Jr. and Henry Smith. Also preceeding in death with Joseph is his nephew Lazell Hampton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: Sisters: Denise Berry, Patricia Radji , Jacklyn Hampton, and Jennifer Hampton Brothers: Timothy Hampton, Antonia Hampton and David Hampton, and a host of Nieces Nephews.
