Kelly Brian Pouncil Sr

We lost OUR vet on Veteran's Day Kelly B. Pouncil, Sr. of Omaha, NE, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2022 at the age of 47. Kelly's life may have been cut short, but he touched the hearts of many while he was with us.

Kelly Was born on July 17, 1975 in Muskogee, Ok. He attended and graduated from Boynton Public Schools in 1993 he went on to join the Navy where he served for 2 years.

In 2010, Kelly relocated to Omaha, Ne where he rekindled and married his childhood sweetheart Julie (Haynes)Pouncil August 2011. For 10 years Kelly became "Mr. Kelly" to several children as the two of them served as foster parents for the state of Nebraska.

Kelly is survived by his wife Julie; children, Vivian Hart, Kody Pouncil, Amrion Pouncil, Kelly Pouncil, Jr., Kelsey Pouncil, Astie Pouncil, and Kiarra Pouncil; mother, Janice Pouncil; sisters, Kimberly Pouncil, Roland Hill, Janelle Coleman, Camille Coleman; brothers, Steven Coleman, Jerome Coleman, and Byron Coleman. Kelly and Julie adopted Amrion, Astie and Kiarra after the state attempted to separate them. They loved them dearly and were so grateful to have them in their lives. Kelly also was a wonderful step father to JaLaya Haynes and his granddaughter "lil mommas" MaLeah Davis; His sisters...........; brothers......; a host of aunts, uncles, friends, and coworkers that he touched during his short life, who loved him dearly and helped him become the person he was.

For the past 3 years Kelly has worked for Ubiguity Global Services where he proudly bragged about being the top sales person on the team and swore no one could top him. He made friends and was known as the "social butterfly" when he was on break and earned the respect of so many of his peers.

Kelly was predeceased, by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father Carl Wayne Pouncil, brothers Wayne Pouncil, Benjamin's Brown, and Julian Coleman.
