Our treasured Kristy Lynn Brazda peacefully went home to meet Jesus on February 3, 2025, at the age of 60. She had battled cancer for a handful of years, unbeknownst to many she continued to love and serve through it all with a smile, a hug, or an encouraging word. To know Kristy was to experience the love of Jesus, her Savior. Being around her would fill you with joy, peace, and kindness. Her example of faith held strong until the very end. We rejoice that she is completely free and healed, while also grieving the earthly loss of an amazing wife, daughter, mom, grandma, sister, and friend. Kristy and her husband, Scott, shared 40 beautiful years of marriage together and raised two daughters, Amanda and Elizabeth. She spent many years leading worship, singing for weddings and funerals, cheering on her girls in sports and music, leading small groups, giving hugs, and spending quality time with family and friends. She was an incredible grandma to four grandbabies, Judah, June, Jentzen, and Rowdey. May her legacy of faith, passion to worship, and love of people live on through all those she has impacted. As she would often say, “my story for God’s glory.”
