Linda Kay Strong

November 9, 1943 — December 4, 2021

Linda Kay Strong, age 78, passed away December 4th surrounded by family members who absolutely adored her. She was born November 9th, 1943 in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Lieutenant C.E. "Pat" Moore and Florence Irene (White) Moore. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1961 and IWCC class of 1983, receiving her Associate's degree in Graphic Arts.

Linda and Terry R. Strong married in 1962. To this union 6 children were born. Linda was rich in family and friends. She was a mom and grandma to many during her 37 years of running Grandma Linda's Daycare. Linda was known for her great sense of humor, big family gatherings, and feeding anyone else her kids brought home. She was a baker, a crafter, known for her artwork, a member of the National Artist Association, and loved being a part of Artist in the Park. Her most prestigious work was for ABATE Motorcycle Club of Council Bluffs where they made her a lifetime member for her artwork. She loved to ride too!

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister-in-law who was also her very close friend, Danielle Moore. She is survived by her sister Clara Schorg (Dave), brothers Pat "Butch" Moore and Danny Moore (Barb), six children, Sherri Raygor (Mike), Charlie Strong, Carolyn Jones (Rod), Todd Strong (Jodi), Teresa Woods (Bob), Jennifer Mutum (Jeff), 11 grandkids, and 4 great-grand kids. All from Council Bluffs.
Memorials will be directed by the family.

Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
